Prof. Dr. Mimoza Hafizi

Mimoza Hafizi është pedagoge pranë Departamentit të Fizikës që prej vitit 1995. Studimi i saj gjatë doktoraturës është fokusuar tek Yjet Bozonike, objekte teorike hipotetike të Universit të energjive të larta. Fushat e saj të kërkimit janë Shpërthimet Gama, ngjarjet më energjike në Univers, ekzoplanetet, planetet jashtë Sistemit Diellor, përmes metodës së mikrolenteve gravitacionale si dhe lensimi i fortë i kuazarëve. Fushat e mësimdhënies janë Astrofizika dhe Mekanika Kuantike.
Mimoza ka qenë deputete në Kuvendin e Shqipërisë dhe Zv/ministre e Arsimit dhe Shkencës. Për katër vjet ka drejtuar Departamentin e Fizikës.
