Prof. Dr. Sonila Duka

Prof. Dr. Sonila Duka është diplomuar në Universitetin e Tiranës, Fakulteti i Shkencave të Natyrës, në degën Biologji në vitin 2000 me rezultate shumë të larta. Që prej vitit 2000 është pedagoge me kohë të plotë pranë gruplëndës së Kimisë Analitike. Gjatë vitit 2001 lektorja ka dhënë provime pranë gruplëndës të Kimisë Analitike në kuadrin e kualifikimit shkencor në saj.

Gjatë periudhës 2002-2005 ka ndjekur masterin në KIMI me drejtimin “Analiza kimike dhe identifikimi i strukturës molekulare me metoda instrumentale” dhe ka mbrojtur mikrotezën me temë “Përcaktimi i metaleve të rënda dhe metalotioninave në midhjet e dy zonave detare "hot spot" Durrës dhe Vlorë”.

Në vitin 2008 ka marrë gradën shkencore “Doktor” në KIMI me temën “Studimi kimizmit të proceseve limnologjike që ndikojnë në cilësinë e ujit të rezervuarit të Bovillës”. Në vitin 2012 ka marrë titullin akademik "Profesor i asociuar" dhe në Qershor 2022 titullin “Profesor”.

Prof. Dr. Sonila Duka është udhëheqëse e dy doktoraturave dhe një numri të lartë të mikrotezave të mbrojtura pranë departamentit të Kimisë. Ajo është kordinatore dhe anëtare në shumë projekte kërkimore shkencore si brenda vendit si dhe jashtë tij. 

Prof. Dr. Sonila Duka është bashkëautore e 47 artikujve shkencore dhe proceeding si dhe 57 prezantime në konferenca të ndryshme shkencore brenda dhe jashte vendit.
