Prof. Asoc. Dr. Erjon Spahiu

Erjon Spahiu është pedagog pranë Departamentit të Fizikës, Fakulteti i Shkencave të Natyrës, Universiteti i Tiranës, që nga viti 1999. 

Ai është Lektor dhe titullar i lëndës "Fizika bërthamore dhe grimcat elementare" dhe lëndës “Fizika” që zhvillohet në degën e Informatikës. Në vitet e para të punës ai ishte fokusuar në drejtimin e Fizikës teorike, në fushën e astrofizikës, simulime të dukurive fizike në kompjuter (Laboratorë virtualë) dhe përshtatjen e simulimeve të dukurive fizike nga disa website të ndryshëm. Studimet gjatë doktoraturës janë fokusuar në vlerësimet radiologjike në mbetjet industriale.

Aktualisht studimet e tij janë fokusuar në fushën e fizikës bërthamore, metoda e spektrometrisë gama, dozimetrisë dhe mbrojtja nga rrezatimet jonizuese. Studimet lidhen me përcaktimin e niveleve të radioaktivitetit mjedisor me anë të spektrometrisë gama si dhe vlerësimin e dozës dhe rrezikut që mund të sjellin tek publiku radiobërthamat natyrore dhe artificiale.
